This text, revealed by Dorje Lingpa (1345–1405), contains the final teaching given by Padmasambhava to Yeshe Tsogyel, just as the Great Guru was preparing to leave Tibet to convert the “Land of the Ogres.” This teaching presents a synthesis of the secret instructions on the practice of Trekchö, as well as the essence of the precepts to be followed in the Bardos. It is an extremely clear and concise summary of the very heart of the Great Perfection.
